Activities & Programmes

Alongside our regular timetable of free boxing, fitness and wellbeing sessions, Weapons Down Wirral delivers targeted programmes that support some of the most vulnerable people in our community. We provide free weekly boxing and fitness sessions for young people referred through Youth Justice Services, alongside free memberships to Argyle Community Fitness for both Youth Justice participants and Care Leavers, helping them access ongoing physical activity, positive role models and a safe, supportive environment.

We also work in partnership with Wirral Met College, delivering outreach talks and interactive boxing activities that raise awareness of violence, healthy lifestyles and positive opportunities. In addition, we are developing an evidence-informed Violence Reduction Workshop for schools and colleges, drawing on lived experience, education and early intervention to challenge attitudes towards violence, promote safer choices and empower young people to build healthier futures.
