Since opening Argyle Community Fitness in 2024, Weapons Down Wirral has become a trusted community hub supporting children, young people and adults affected by violence, trauma, addiction and poor mental health.

Who We Work With

Our members range in age from young people to those aged 55 and over. We work with people from all walks of life, including those in recovery from addiction, individuals experiencing poor mental health, people referred through local support services, young people, and anyone looking for a welcoming space to improve their health and wellbeing.

Our sessions include group boxing, recovery fitness classes, one-to-one personal training, yoga, strength and conditioning, and more — all delivered in a non-judgemental, inclusive environment.
